School of Photography

• The Bharati Vidyapeeth School of Photography is located at Dhankavadi, Pune.

  Ambience Bharati Vidyapeeth is spread across 85 acres, these institutions is conveniently located at the heart of the city. It is also known as the Katraj Campus and houses 24 colleges of various disciplines, major among them are a Medical College, a Dental College & a College Of Engineering. The highlight of the campus is a sports ground that stretches across 5 acres of land also part of the campus is the Bharati Hospital and, an Ayurved & Homeopathic Hospital. To ensure the campus environment is conducive to learning, there are hostels on campus, canteens, an ATM centre, a Bharati Bank Branch and a 24hr Pharmacy.

  Infrastructure The Institute will have studios, library, hostel facility, canteen & classroom , auditorium with audio-visual facility

  Studios The School of Photography has four studios with a  master studio of about 2,500 sq.ft and other spacious studios and a natural light studio. The studios are designed to global standards and will be equipped with Apple Mac Pro workstations and Apple LED cinema displays for image  capture.

  Equipment The Bharati Vidyapeeth School of Photography will provide State-of-the- Art equipment for students’ learning. Apart from cameras and lighting equipment of the best makes, colour calibrated Apple Macintosh workstations with the latest in photography related software along with pro-quality printers and scanners for post production expeirence and training. Here’s an indicative list of equipments that  students will use during the course: Sinar cameras, Nikon/ complete Broncolour studio light system with top-of- the-line lenses, Sekonic/ Gossen Flash meters, Broncolor power packs with light shaping tools, Chimera light modifiers, MANFROTTO and VANGUARD TRIPODS,HASSELBLAD H4D 31 with all lenses, PHASE ONE 645 DF P 40+ AND P 65 + with all lenses.

  Accommodation Students can avail of hostel facilities if required as per existing rules & costs.
